What's This?
The idea for an Out Run 2 arcade game locator originally came from the 'Retro & Arcade Gaming' folder of RLLMUK, when forumite Preacher suggested we list all the locations each of us had spotted an Out Run 'Special Tours' setup whilst out and about. The object of the exercise was to help those who had yet to play this revamped version of Out Run 2 a chance to finally see what it was like.

I've decided to take this idea one step further, and am now trying to locate UK based Out Run, Out Run 2 and Out Run 2 SP machines. The main reason for this is so that people can find out where their nearest machine is located, and if it's available for public use, can go along and play it.

You may also notice that I also have set aside a column for the serial number. The reason I'm trying to catalogue this information is so that machines can be tracked from location to location over the course of their lives. When you add a new cab to your collection it's always nice to know a bit about its history before you got hold of it. Perhaps this will help. If a machine is moved (perhaps it changes ownership) and you tell me about it, I can then catalogue the change, and thus a history is created. The serial number I am after can be found around the edge of the monitor and is printed on an 'Official Sega Seal' sticker.

As far as I'm aware, the only versions of Out Run 2 available are dual sit downs. These are certainly the only set-ups I've seen (although have heard more can be linked). Unless detailed, all set-ups below are the dual sit-down type. If you know of any other possible versions (upright?) please let me know.
